Consultation & Project Briefing - 1
Consultation & Project Briefing - 2

Consultation & Project Briefing

  • •First, we clarify the purpose of the architectural visualization, who it is intended for, and how it will be presented.
  • •Even for the same building, the information that needs to be emphasized varies depending on its purpose—whether for design review, competitions, client presentations, real estate sales, advertising, or other applications.
  • •For example, design review prioritizes clear communication of the building’s form and spatial composition. For sales and marketing, we also consider how to convey a lifestyle that resonates with the target audience, the appeal of materials, the quality of light, and views from the property.
  • •For architectural visualization projects in Japan, we also provide consultation and support in Japanese, ensuring that design intent and project requirements are accurately understood and communicated.
Design Direction Alignment & 3D Modeling - 1
02

Design Direction Alignment & 3D Modeling

  • •After the initial consultation, we review the materials provided and organize the information required for architectural visualization.
  • •We check the consistency between drawings, specified finishes, furniture and landscaping references, surrounding environment information, and other relevant materials, while identifying any unclear or undecided items.
  • •When information is incomplete, it is important to distinguish in advance between areas that can be determined by the production team and those that require confirmation from the client. Sharing the scope of revisions, review process, and delivery format at this stage also helps ensure a smoother workflow in the later stages.
  • •Even for offshore architectural CG production, we carefully align project materials and production standards, minimizing discrepancies in understanding as we proceed with 3D modeling.
Camera Angle Proposal & Visual Review - 1
03

Camera Angle Proposal & Visual Review

  • •Based on the finalized materials, we build the 3D model of the building or space. Existing 3D or BIM data can also be utilized when available, although adjustments to the level of detail and structure required for architectural visualization may be necessary.
  • •At this stage, we refine the core geometry that forms the foundation of the visualization, including the building volume, openings, ceilings, built-in furniture, fixtures, exterior elements, and more. Before moving on to detailed visual development, we confirm that there are no discrepancies in key dimensions, positioning, or spatial composition.
  • •Major design changes after the geometry has been finalized may affect the camera angle, materials, lighting, and surrounding elements. For projects where the design is still evolving, establishing which version of the drawings will serve as the production reference and how changes will be communicated helps keep the process smooth and efficient.
  • •We also provide Japanese-language support, carefully reviewing your requirements for camera angles and composition while proposing architectural visualization that accurately reflects your design intent.
Lighting & Material Refinement - 1
04

Lighting & Material Refinement

  • •Once the camera angle has been finalized, we move on to refining the lighting and material details of the visualization.
  • •For a photorealistic result, lighting and material refinement are key factors that greatly influence the overall realism and visual quality of the final architectural rendering.
  • •By carefully developing details such as exterior material textures, wood grain and metal finishes in interiors, and variations in light and shadow throughout the day, we create architectural visualizations that communicate the intended finished design with greater clarity and realism.
  • •For high-end residential and commercial projects in particular, we believe that the time and attention invested in this stage have a direct impact on the overall quality of the final result.
Initial Draft Review & Feedback - 1
05

Initial Draft Review & Feedback

  • •After completing the preceding stages, we deliver the initial architectural rendering for review.
  • •At this stage, clients can review the actual visual result and provide feedback on any areas that require revision.
  • •When multiple stakeholders are involved, consolidating their feedback in advance and clearly indicating the location and requested changes directly on the image can help ensure that revisions are communicated accurately and efficiently.
  • •As offshore production relies primarily on online communication, clearly sharing revision requests and points for confirmation is essential to maintaining consistent quality and production speed.
Final Revisions & Delivery - 1
06

Final Revisions & Delivery

  • •Based on the agreed feedback, we implement the requested revisions and proceed with the final rendering and finishing process.
  • •At the final stage, we review not only the requested revisions but also the image resolution, noise, edges, material continuity, and the integration of elements such as people and vegetation to ensure a polished final result.
  • •Delivery formats vary depending on the intended use. JPEG and PNG are commonly used for websites and general presentation materials, while printed materials require image data prepared according to the required output size and resolution.
  • •Layered PSD files and 3D data may be available depending on the production conditions and scope of the agreement. If these files are required, we recommend confirming this at the time of requesting the project.
  • •A Japanese-speaking member of our team serves as your point of contact, ensuring smooth communication from the final review through delivery. Even with offshore production, we have established a system that allows you to work with us with the same confidence and peace of mind as you would with a production partner in Japan.
